Simple photo sharing for the henna evening

Henna photo sharing: every guest gets all of their photos on WhatsApp

Henna photo sharing with PiciMe works like this: each guest takes one selfie, and face recognition identifies them and sends them a personal album on WhatsApp with all the photos they appear in. And you, the family, get all the evening's photos in one place, both the photographer's and the guests'. It works for any kind of henna, Yemeni, Moroccan or Iraqi.

Every aunt gets her photos, and grandma too, without anyone having to ask.

HOW IT WORKS

Here's how it works, in three simple steps

You get a link, take one selfie, and get a personal album. That's all it takes.

01

Get a link on WhatsApp

Each guest gets a WhatsApp link and simply taps it, without installing an app. You can also scan a QR code at the event.

02

Take one selfie

Each guest takes a short selfie. That's how face recognition learns what they look like, and finds them across all the evening's photos.

WHAT YOU GET · what the family gets, and what every guest gets

You get all the photos, and every guest gets their own

You get all the evening's photos in one place, both the photographer's and all the guests'. You can download and save everything in one gallery.

Each guest gets a personal album on WhatsApp with their photos, in every outfit they wore, whether in a Moroccan caftan or a gargush. Only the photos they appear in.

And most importantly: there's no app and no sign-up. The older guests get the photos on WhatsApp too, exactly the way they talk with the grandkids.

At a henna the most important photos are exactly the ones that vanish

Three reasons the photos disappear, and one solution for all of them.

ISSUE #01

Months of preparation, and the next day there are no photos

You worked on the henna for months and rented caftans and gargushes for the whole family. But the next day no one gets their own photo, because simply no one collected the photos.

ISSUE #02

The structure of the evening works against you

At a henna people change outfits several times, but in the end only the henna-application photos reach everyone. All the other photos stay stuck on phones and in WhatsApp groups.

ISSUE #03

The photography budget is saved for the wedding

At a henna there are usually fewer photographer hours, so the photos the guests take are especially important. But no one collects them.

״
I spent two months looking for caftans and gargushes to rent for the whole family, for Mor's henna. At other hennas I'd seen how the photos just disappear. With us, already the next morning, all the aunts and grandmothers had their photos on WhatsApp. I didn't send a thing to anyone.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions about henna photo sharing

We have three outfit changes during the evening, will the personal album include all the outfits?+
Yes. Face recognition identifies each guest throughout the whole evening, even when they change clothes. Each guest gets a personal album on WhatsApp with all of their photos, in every outfit, without anyone having to sort photos by hand.
The bride in a Yemeni gargush or a Moroccan caftan, with heavy traditional makeup, will face recognition still work?+
Yes. Recognition is based on the facial features themselves, so a head covering, jewelry or makeup don't interfere as long as the face is visible. Both a Yemeni henna with a gargush and a Moroccan henna with a caftan, every photo of the bride reaches her personal album.
Can we keep the henna photos and the wedding photos as one keepsake?+
Yes. Many couples book PiciMe for both events. Each guest gets a personal album from the henna and a personal album from the wedding, to the same WhatsApp, and both keepsakes are kept together with the whole family. All the details on our weddings page.
At the moment the henna is applied everyone crowds around with their phones, won't those photos get lost?+
On the contrary, that's exactly the advantage. Guests upload the photos from their phone to the gallery through the link, so every angle of the application moment is saved. And face recognition makes sure every photo also reaches the album of whoever appears in it.
Our photographer only stays until the henna application, because most of the photography budget is saved for the wedding, what about everything that happens after?+
That's exactly why the gallery is open to guests too. Everything they photograph, the dancing, the songs and the moments after the photographer left, uploads to the same gallery alongside the photographer's photos. And face recognition sorts it all into the personal albums. That way even an evening with few photographer hours ends with documentation of everyone.
Our henna is intimate, around 80 guests. Is it worth it for a small event too?+
Yes, and sometimes even more so. At a henna of 80 guests everyone gets photographed again and again, in every outfit and around the henna tray, so fewer guests means more photos for each one. The plans on the pricing page fit a small event too.
